Accommodation in Raglan | Whāingaroa

Tucked away in Whale Bay above the Indicators surf break, Totara Enclave is home to four glamping cabins, each with its own character and sense of privacy, gathered around shared spaces.

From here, sweeping views stretch across the Tasman Sea while the rhythm of bush, sea, and sky sets the pace. Nestled in native forest at the foot of Mt Karioi, the space is alive with birdsong by day, and at night the Milky Way glows overhead as Ruru call through the trees.

Just 12 minutes from Raglan, it feels far enough to escape the bustle yet close enough to enjoy the town’s charm. Whether you come for surf, stillness, or stargazing, Totara Enclave is a place to slow down and reconnect with nature.

Shared Spaces

On the land there are a few shared spaces you will share with other guests. There’s a toilet block with two flushing toilets, plus an outdoor shower with high-pressure hot water (nothing better after a swim of surf!). Head up to the view platform for sunset or stargazing, or hang out in the clearing – a laid back space to gather, relax, and soak up the vibe.
